Weave yourself a beautiful foraging bag, from locally harvested willow bark.
Bark is a fantastic material that is can be harvested from the tree in the spring and summer time and can be processed and made into beautiful, functional objects.
On this course we will look at a selection of different barks from my collection and I will show you items that can be made from them.
We will work from already peeled willow bark, which you will then cut and process and weave into a small foraging bag. We will create a lid and handle of your choice out of leather or felt.
Bark continues to amaze me with its versatility and you will go away wishing for the spring when you can get peeling materials again!!
