Description
This pestle and mortar was carved entirely with hand tools, the axe and knife and gouge. The Ash wood comes from a conservation project in the peak District and the sycamore from Derbyshire. It is sustainably sourced by hand.
It is a perfect size for an small Kitchen and is finished with homemade milk paint and cold pressed linseed oil.

100% food safe, to wash, wipe clean in warm soapy water with the rest of your washing up, do not soak or use a dishwasher though!
