Description
This beautiful hand carved yarn bowl is made from Alder and is made by carving a fresh log and inserting a dry wooden bottom, the fresh wood then shrinks and dries a tight seal around the base, a very clever design. They are called Shrink pots and this one has been painted with blue oil paint and delicately decorated with chipcarving.
