15th August 2020
Learn the amazing versatility of bark and learn to process, weave and create your own crafts.
Bark is a fantastic material that is can be harvested from the tree in the spring and summer time and can be processed and made into beautiful, functional objects.
On this course we will look at a selection of different barks from my collection and I will show you items that can be made from them.
Make yourself a small but beautiful pouch that you could use for glasses, your phone or as a keepsake bag from locally harvested chestnut bark and other foraged materials.
We will learn how to create string and cordage from various materials such as nettlen and various barks to stitch the pouch together
