Description

This Spoon was carved by hand with an axe and knife from local, sustainable birch that was also cut by hand as part of conservation projects.
It is based on a spoon that was found in the Vasa shipwreck and had lain at the bottom of the sea.
Every spoon is unique as every piece of wood is unique and that is what makes each one special, so the spoon you receive will be similar to one in the image but not the exact one ;0)
The decoration is burnt and chipcarved into the wood and it is knife finished and treated with natural cold pressed linseed oil, which is food safe.
To wash, simply wipe down with warn soapy water with the rest of your washing up.
Do not put in the dishwasher or soak overnight though, spoons dont like that .
