Whether we’re camouflaging ourselves with face paint, exploring the woods, making dens, playing games or having a campfire – you can be assured a woodland party will be remembered by kids and parents alike for many years to come.
Our Woodland Birthday Parties run from mid April to mid October and spaces get booked up very quickly, especially during the summer.

About our Woodland Parties
Choose a Party
We offer two fun and exciting party options, the first is the fire and dens party and is for up to 16 children, the second is a family orientated theme that can involve woodland crafts. All parties follow your chosen theme for the first hour and 15 minutes, Then the second part of the party involves lighting the campfire, having party food and singing Happy Birthday, plus we’ll also test that the dens you’ve made are waterproof.
Dens and fires
Recommended age 5 – 12 years
This is our most popular party with boys and girls alike. The party has a woodland survivors theme. We camouflage ourselves with face paint, go exploring, make dens, play games and have a campfire.
The birthday boy or girl starts the fire and we tuck into the party food that you have brought with you. Then it’s onto toasting marshmallows,* popcorn and testing the dens to see if they’re waterproof!
If your child has a specific interest in something we can usually incorporate this into the party.

Family woodland/bushcraft Party.
Recommended age 6-16 years.
This runs in a similar way to the dens and campfires except we can try out some woodwork, make a clay pot or do some cooking on the fire depending on the age of the children and your preferences.

The cost for parties is £190 for up to 16 children for the fire and dens or £190 for a family bushcraft party of 4, each extra person is £30. Parties last 2 hours and the price includes hire fees for Lupine Woods, a party leader, plus tools and resources needed for the activities. We will supply marshmallows and popcorn but suggest that you also bring your own party food and drink for the fire and dens party. We will discuss food when booking the bushcraft family party as some of it is included in this bespoke party.

Up to 16 children can attend. Parents are welcome to stay and join in too.

Our woodland parties take place in Lupine Woods, Turbary Road,
Haxey Carr, Haxey, Doncaster DN9 2JN
The party site is not open to the public and is fenced off. There is a car park, toilets and hand washing facilities.
The party site has a covered wooden shelter for the cake and food and has a covered, seated fire pit area

We take safety very seriously.
Green Fox Wild Crafts is covered by public liability insurance and our party leaders are level 3 Forest School trained, DBS checked and first aid qualified.
Green Fox Wild Crafts has permission from the owners of Lupine Woods Woodlands to deliver activities on council sites and we pay relevant site hire fees to do so.
All activities are risk assessed and the safety of attendees is paramount.

Our woodland parties run from mid April to mid October, most available dates are tue/wed/thur during the school holidays and thur evenings during the summer months.
We offer two time slots on weekdays:
10.30am – 12.30pm
2.00pm – 4.00pm
After school evening slots;
5.30 pm – 7.30 pm

Advice on Clothing
Please ask children not to wear their best party clothes, we will probably get dirty!
Long trousers and wellies are advised at all times to protect against prickly plants. Plenty of layers are advised in cold weather and waterproofs are always a good idea due to the unpredictable nature of the British weather!
We will be around a fire so avoid flammable clothing like fairy dresses. Long hair should also be tied back.
Food & Drink
Please bring party food and drink. We advise easy finger food such as sandwiches, crisps, buns etc and a birthday cake. Paper bags work best, plates tend to get knocked over or blown away!
There is an under a cover area available to store your food until required but ensure food is well contained, it may be hard to believe but the squirrels in Lupine Woods have become expert at getting into boxes and packets, a piece of cling film provides no challenge!
Also bring party bags and a cake if desired!)
All litter and leftover food must be removed from the site prior to departure.

Cancellations and Rescheduling
Woodland parties take place in all weathers with the exception of very high winds. In rare circumstances we may need to reschedule parties as a result of severe weather conditions causing safety issues. We will contact you if this is likely to be problem at your party and try and find an alternative date.
Because bookings for parties are often made well in advance it is hard to fill slots at short notice.
Therefore if you cancel your party with us the following refund policy applies:
Parties are non refundable
In extreme cases there may be exceptions made to this refund policy.
